If you're a HOMEBUILDER using QuickBooks, your reports need to make the following happy:

You build the homes, we'll build the reports.

ESTIMATED FEES
Approximate cost of creating a new file is $1,500-$2,500 which includes 8 hours for training.
Approximate cost of reworking an established file is $2,500 to $4,500 including 8 hours for training.
If more then 8 hours of training is required, our rates are $65 per hour.
If tax services are required, our rates are $125 per hour for tax services. An example would be to help you decide what type of entity should be chosen for the business.

Click above to see the SAMPLE REPORTS!! Because some of the reports are large, you will need to scroll up, down, and over on some of the reports. And in the lower left of the sample reports, click on the arrows to get to the ones on the very right. You can navigate the reports much like an Excel template.

Please focus on the color coded amounts so you can see how they flow from one report to another report.

These are only SAMPLE reports and are NOT a complete set of financial statements. For example a FULL P&L is not presented here because our emphasis is to illustrate a P&L by JOB. The regular P&L for all activity is a standard report to generate but is not included here for this reason.

Your situation may require additional reports or fewer reports. For example, if you're a subcontractor, you may have a retainage RECEIVABLE account in addition to the retainage payable account. But similar to above, such a report has not been included here in order to focus on the other reports.

Yes, it is possible to get these reports from QuickBooks IF the file is setup and used properly and we can do that!!
